How do I contact Rotary News? I am a designer and would like to submit a shot of what the new Rx-7 may look like.

How do I contact Rotary News? I am a designer and would like to submit a shot of what the new Rx-7 may look like. It's based off the Taiki concept, which is what I think Mazda is going to use for the basis of the new RX-7. I don't think Mazda would base the new RX-7 off the RX-8 or Kabura. They are not masculine or progressive enough for a flagship sports car like the RX-7. Many people just want another 3rd gen equivalent. My take on the new RX-7 embodies the characteristics of the 3rd gen by making a substantial change to the Taiki rear cap and wheel arches. Please advise.

2010 Mazda RX-7 as reported by Road and Track in their June 2007 issue.

I was just wondering if anyone saw this story of the possibility of Mazda bringing back the RX-7 for the 2010 model year as told by Road and Track? There is an artists renditions of what the new RX-7 might look like. This might be very interesting if all is true...can't wait to find out more!

FD3S in new movie
Submitted by Bill in OKC on Monday, June 5, 2006 - 3:08pmMedia | Next Gen RX-7

I saw a movie trailer for the new movie Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift the other day when I went to see X-men 3. Bigger than life is a customized FD3S in the movie. I actually like the stock looks of the FD3S better but I intend to see the movie just to enjoy a trick RX-7 in action. It is a shame that so few of these icons are still around here in the U.S.

The market is open for a low to mid prices 2 seat hatchback
Submitted by sureshot on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 - 9:27amNext Gen RX-7

I like my rotary, but a quick Kabura (even with a piston engine) would grab me.
I like the way the RX-8 drives & looks.
The Kabura styling is right on.
My old 91 RX-7 is my daily driver, but it's days are numbered.
For me, the hatchback is a big deal, not just for shopping. I can load 7 boards of 2x4-8 lumber with the hatch closed, or carry 4 spare wheels to an autocross. The next weekend I can take my wife on a day trip for some great seafood.

It seems like now there is a gap in the market for a quick affordable 2 seat hatch back.

Is the MAZDA RX-7 Coming Back?
Submitted by No Rotor on Monday, September 27, 2004 - 9:33pmNext Gen RX-7

[EDITORAL NOTE:] You probably got to this page from a google search. This isn't a story about the next generation RX-7, but a posting by some user a long time ago asking the question about the next RX-7. We feel that the Kabura has the best chance to being the next RX-7 (Or RX-3...) , see this story on the Kabura. If the Kabura does not become the next RX-7, the next earliest chance Mazda will show an RX-7 would be at the next Tokyo Autoshow in October 2007.

it is about the style

i dont think that using an rx-8 body for the rx-7 is acceptable...the rx-7 when in it first debut in 1993 in the states was totally awesome from the second gen rx-7..the third gen was a hit that mazda had designed as its own custom built design..the 3rd gen was not based on a porsche as was the 1st gen or any other car. rumors about the supra being based on a ferrari was found to be true and i thought it was revolting. the next gen rx-7 should have its own platform without any traces of an rx-8..it should be the sickest and wickedest looking and performing ride on the face of this earth and mazda can do it!
