Hello. I'm looking for Dan or Berny. This is Brian from Mazda motorsports. Can you send me an e-mail at brian@spliceguys.com. I'm looking for a certain picture from the early RX-Evolve, or preproduction RX-8. I have a smaller version, but need a big version and hoped that one of you might have it..
Thanks,
Brian |

My roomate has a 2005 rx8 he bought recently. He let a co-worker take it to get it washed and were not sure but we think he may have power washed the engine, but anyways, ever since he got the car back, it would bog down at 6,000 and then get back on track at 6,500 rpm's. The check engine light is also on, but that has been on for a little bit now. The 8 is a 6 speed car also(not sure if that matters or not). Anyone have any ideas on what it might be? |

I have a 86 RX7, its been sitting for about six months, at one of my friends house, he cant get it started, so i gave him 300 dollers for it, it has a new transmission. We cant get it to start, all the spark plugs are firing, the fuel pump works and all, it justa wont turn over. its been sitting the whole time without antifreeze in it. we put some in it, and now when we try to start it it building pressure and blowing the refill cap off, we think the car wont start because of the fuel regulater, we havent tried out that theroy. but maybe someone can help. |

I have done all this work to my car and I can't find a downpipe for my car. My problem is I don't trust the muffler shops around my house so I just want to buy a downpipe for a single turbo setup for the FD. I cannot find one anywhere and no one can help me. If anyone knows anywhere to get one could you let me know on here and email me as well. I will get the email quicker. My email is lowkee33@gmail.com. Thanks in advance! |

!976 RX4, fuel tank questions |

Does anyone have a source for a fuel tank sending unit that will fit the RX4. Also it would be very helpful if I could find a drawing of the Tank Hole bolt spacing. All after market units use a 5 hole pattern while the RX4 has a 6 hole pattern. Any help would be helpful
Are there any adapter plates available?

i've had my car for two years and it has flooded 3 times. i called the dealer every time and got them to tow it in. they always said it was my fault. they told me every time i start the car it has to warm up before i turn it off, so if i want to move the car from one place to the other i have to let it warm up before i turn the car off. i knew this was a crock. i called dealer about recall when i saw it on the news and they knew nothing of it they said they would get in touch with me this week, so far i havent heard anything |

I've got a 91 RX7. After getting it I learned about the problem caused by starting and shutting off before it is warmed up. This summer I let it sit a couple of months in the driveway and now have the same problem. It spins easily and doesn't sound like there is any compression. I was told before by a mechanic that there is a way to squirt or spray some oil thru the spark plug holes to get compression started. Is this all that hard? How much oil should be put into the chamber? Would something like STP or Motor Honey help? |
