Our European correspondent Clive, has sent in his report from the Goodwood festival.

The forthcoming RX-8 40th Anniversary model was shown for the first time at Goodwood which will be a "White" model edition and will feature (as shown) a special white interior including a white gear knob and changes to the steering wheel, the car will also feature special rotary anniversary badges on the front fenders and the rear panel.

Also show at Mazda's Goodwood Rotary celebration stand along with the 40th Anniversary RX-8 was a 787B on loan from the Le Mans museum a 1967 Cosmo and a rare U/K spec 3rd Generation RX-7, with both these cars being supplied by Mazdarotaryclub to Mazda for the occasion.

Away from the Mazda stand in the pits was a 757 that was "competing" along with other group C cars from many other manufactures, also one of the 2 RX-8 Kuros attending was also demonstrating "up the hill".

Away from the Mazda stand in the Concurs section of the event was another pristine "as new" 1967 Cosmo that was provided by a Mazda dealer who owns the car from Cyprus.
