Need advice on buying an RX-7

I have a '90 Mazda RX7 convertible which I am considering sending to my son in Los Angeles. Does anyone know whether these cars have a hard time passing the emmissions standards in California? I am in Texas.

If you don't know much about Rotary Engines don't even
go there until you gain some experience. I agree the car
is absolutely beautiful but they are also complicated; so,
if you don't have a great rotary mechanic available and
you don't know anything about rotaries I hope you have
lots of money!
P.S. That doesn't mean you can't do research and learn,
I just would not jump in with the 3rd generation 7.

I have owned an '87 RX7 and still own a '90 model, I do not know the 3 generations of the RX7's. Can you elaborate

You own two of the 2nd generation 7s. In 93 the 3rd
generation RX-7 appeared on the US market.
You didn't state whether your 7s were turbo or not,
the 3rd generation is a two stage turbo with one
stage on at all times to eliminate lag.
The third gen 7 I believe is around 270hp.
(don't hold me to the exact number)
Your cars look alot like the Porche 944, the 3rd gen 7
has all smooth round edges and is extremely beautiful.
It is in the movie "The Fast and the Furious".
