I think the coverage of the mazda cars was plenty. The first days coverage on speed (8:00-10:00pm est) they had an interview with a team member from one of the cars where they mentioned they were running a 3 rotor that lacked the top end of the porsches and had worse fuel mileage. He joked that it wasnt a very good combination but they had a great handling car and superb braking and reliability that would make them competitive. The #70 car also had an onboard camera that they cut to several times to hear the unique sound of the rotary engine that they kept commenting on.

I watched this race hoping to see the Mazdas run. I only saw tid bits of them. They barely commented on them either. I hope to see the day rotarys up front in a pack, and everyone else trailing. You know? It sucks to see how all the other cars got praised except for Mazda.

Yes I believe it sucks to see how they only give full coverage only to the DP category cars but I also recall they gave an special coverage to one of the RX-8 and specially the one that the rotary legend Jim Downing help prepared, another thing that is great is that the RX-8 finished fourth and seventh in the GT class which is an amazing achievement considering the caliber of the other cars competing, of course I would prefer that they have finished on the first 3 positions but it still is an amzing achievement..........
