I've had my '05 RX-8 for 7,000 miles and the auto transmission is always so rough. When going around 38 mph or so I feel my car jolting back and forth until I give it gas and make it shift back into 3rd and then let it settle back into 4th. Another instance when I encounter problems with my transmission is passing people on the highway. Of course I floor it and haul ass to pass the person in front of me. Then I let off the gas and let the car coast down to 70 or 75 mph. When doing this my transmission stays stuck in 3rd gear until I either manually shift it or once I get to 70-75 mph I give it a little gas. Am I the only one experiencing this?????????? |
