Racing Beat celebrates 35 years of Rotary Performance!
Submitted by Berny Herrera on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 - 6:48pm

-Join Racing Beat as they celebrate 35 years of rotary performance!-

Started back in 1971 by Jim Mederer and Takayuki Oku, their racing success led to the introduction of performance products for the growing rotary market. Thirty-five years later, Racing Beat's Mazda performance market has expanded to include parts for many other applications. However, the heart and soul of Racing Beat will ALWAYS be focused on the rotary engine!

With the introduction of the RX-8, new generations of car enthusiasts are experiencing the thrill of the rotary engine. Even prior to the release of this car, Racing Beat's engineering team was busy creating new products for this application. Initial product releases included suspension upgrades, followed closely by exhaust and intake products. Word spread quickly and these components became some of the fastest selling new products in our history!

Early 2006 will see the release their updated and revised Technical Manual and Parts Catalog, with complete listings for our new RX-8 components. Do you own a 1979-95 RX-7? We have updated the catalog with photos and parts listings for many of your favorite items. Check the website and join one of their mailing lists for special announcements during their 35th anniversary celebration!
