New AutoArt 787b Preview pics and LMP#8 Model by SPARK
Submitted by Dan Mazzella on Thursday, November 10, 2005 - 6:31pm

The eagerly and long anticipated AutoArt model of the Mazda Le Mans winning 1991 787b is getting closer to release. We've obtained some photos of the model that we expect to be released soon.

We have also received a shipment of the latest Le Mans Mazda, the #8 Courage, powered by a 3Rotor using RENESIS parts. You can order a copy of the LMP2 at the Store.RotaryNews.com... Just in time for the Holidays!

Just want to say the #8 Courage die cast is very nicely constructed. I won one at Sevenstock and it has enCOURAGEd me to start collecting rotary powered diecasts. I love coming to work and seeing it on my desk, makes my day that much better. -Jeromy

I agree, but purists: the serious collectors, wanted the car to be exactly like it was at LeMans 1991. They started pointing out things like wrong tire treds, wrong stickers, and the wheel caps. Serious collectors don't care really about how the car looks asthetically, they care about how exactly it matches the real thing at a point in time. That's the largest market for this model at over $130.
