I havent heard that story, but you've certainly got my attention. I just picked up a Shinka last week. Where did you read/hear this?? When did this supposedly happen? Im gonna search the internet and see if I can find something on it. I'll let you know what I find out. Anyone out there that can shed some light on the subject, please enlighten us.

There was definately a fire at one of the Mazda plants, but I havent found anything to confirm whether or not the projected number of Shinkas being produced was changed.

i had a dealer tell me the same when i was looking for mine, but there seemed to be plenty around didnt have a problem getting mine!!
