Rusting Rotors

Can anyone tell me if there is a recall/service Bulletin covering the rotor hubs on "04" RX-8's? I got everything on this car and find it hard to believe that rusting hubs are "Normal" (according to my dealer). They had the bodyshop paint them but said do to the heat it might not last (didn't-2 weeks max)I find it hard to believe that this was an isolated problem or they couldn't use high temp paint etc... like I did on my GTO engine,manifold etc... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Great fourm BTW :-)

It is normal unfortunately. I own a Mazdaspeed Protege and had the rotors replaced all together thanks to a short lived TSB. 3 weeks later, the rust is worse than it was before.

It sure is dissapointing to spend that kind of $ on wheels so we can show off the rust :-( ...... I have a 2000 explorer that hasn't had anything done to the rotors and the rust is minimal.Thanks for your help.
*I notice when we go to the dealer all the RX-8's hubs are perfect.....no doubt the "Lot Boy" is kept busy keeping them that way!
