Synthetic Oil or Regular Oil for the RX8???
Submitted by Alex58 on Saturday, September 4, 2004 - 6:00pm

Are there any safe synthetic oils to use in the RX8? Has anyone tried them? Mazda says to only use 5W-20 regular motor oil in the car. I read an article in MAZDASPORT that stated the benefits of synthetic oil, and even mentioned that Red Line synthetics are suited for the rotary engine. At $8 a quart, it must be pretty good. My fear though is of voiding my warantee if I use them.
