can you tell if the moonroof takes up any head room?

Next to no headroom is taken up. Here is an image of the moon roof, with the cover closed. That cover slides back with ease.

Do you have any information on this? What is the display like ie. Audi small and monchrome or Z4 cool and in color?

The nav is in full color, and sets on the dash, above the radio and A/C readout. It can be updated by replacing a DVD in the system

What was the feel of the materials used in the interior?

The material is very high quality. Almost BMW feel. .. actually, it is closer to BMW feel than any other maker on the show floor, besides Infiniti.

The press release this morning said "fully loaded for around $30K, but your article states $32K, why the discrepancy?

With the GT Package, and the NAV, the Final MSRP comes in at $33,100.

How are the front seatbelts kept out of the way when the rear door is open?

TWIN oil coolers in front ducts. Same poor ventilation design as the FD?

The FD can cool just fine, but with twin turbos, it is a little hard to keep everything cool! Besides, they fixed most of those problems with the Japanese RX-7's after 1997. Twin oil coolers is a good thing!
