Mazda USA Posts Updated Photos
Submitted by SuperUser on Friday, November 15, 2002 - 10:16am

A Mazda North American employee contacted me this morning to let us know their website as been updated with new photos of the production-ready RX-8.

Photos not seen before of the trunk with 2 golf bags, the revised front end, and Close up of the engine cover have been released. And best of all, it appears the RX-8 website allows the newer Mozilla based browsers that over 20% of rotorheads use...

Mozilla is still unsupported!!!
The RX-8 site works because the link is directly to the RX-8 page. The Mazdausa.com homepage is the page where the browser version is checked. If you fool them, by having Mozilla report it is IE, the page still doesn't work because it is horribly coded. What a poor design! And do we have to hear "Zoom Zoom" everytime we go to the page? No wonder there is no way provided to give feedback.

10k redline or 9k redline. Which is it?

Looking at the pic of the gauge cluster, it looks like it has a 9k redline. Some of the articles are conflicting about the redline. Some say it's 10k some say it's 9k. So what is it?

Also, while I LOVE the big centered tach I'm not so sure I like the digital speedometer.
