First... great website and forums. I feel I have learned much about RX-8s during my time on this site.

Now with the questions:
I am looking into potentially buying an RX-8 (here in the US) and considering my options. The problems with the '04, '05 and some '06s are very well documented around the inter-webs. What I have found much less information on is whether or not Mazda improved the reliability in the '07 and beyond model years. The lack of complaints lead me to believe they have worked out the kinks, but at the same time, I suspect they have been selling less over the past couple of years. Any insight?....

In the same vein, I'm considering buying late model used vs. new. Obviously I can save a bunch of money buying used, but with this car especially, would I truly be buying someone else's problems? Are there specific things I should be looking for if I'm shopping used?
