Problems & More Problems
Submitted by Derreck on Monday, October 5, 2009 - 9:00pm

I never taught that buying an RX8 will become a night mare owning a car.I do not know of any car in the market that needs All Spark plugs , all ing. wires and coils and the fuel injector every 12 months. Mazda claims that it is normal wear & tear I only drove the car 11K miles after the parts were replaced once already. None of these were covered by Mazda & I was responsible for the entire bill $850.00. Strange how the engine damages the sparks plugs and corrodes the wiring to the point that the car stopped running, Now the same issue & I am to pay for all the parts service $ 850 again.. but they say is not the engine. I think is time to start looking for an attorney.

Take it back

I would check my owners manual and warranty agreement before you call an attorney. Maybe you might qualify for the lemon law and get your money back.

I wouldn't pay $850 for a plugs and wire install, I'd do it my self. But that may sound crazy to the average Joe (such as yourself) to have to do mechanical work on a new car. Most car issues don't come up until 6 or 7 years later around the 130,000 mile mark or so. Your frustration is understandable.

I would return it and buy a chevy or honda if I were you. Rotary is not for you.
